PlayBook AIR Samples

(This domain is new, so we're just getting set up.)

The PlayBook AIR project (hosted on bitbucket.org) contains the following code samples:

• AIRHelloWorld: the original "Hello world" from the SDK
• DropShadow: sample using code from the forum to put a drop shadow on a ToggleSwitch
• InspectTest: dump various undocumented qnx.* classes using trace()
• KeyboardTest: my proof-of-concept using qnx.pps.PPS and qnx.input.IMFConnection to control the keyboard and detect status changes
• MaskTest: an experiment with masking, showing a "Th-th-that's all folks!" closing circle animation
• MenuTest: demonstration code showing use of ca.microcode.menu.TopSwipeMenu class
  • ca.microcode.menu.TopSwipeMenu: ca.microcode.menu.TopSwipeMenu class, which implements a proper SWIPE_START menu (not a SWIPE_DOWN menu)
• MicrophoneTest: demonstrates use of flash.media.Microphone as well as the SampleDataEvent lag in Beta 3
